Have you thought about what you are going to do for work after your baby is born?
I know some of you may be saying “I am not even pregnant yet, why would I be thinking about that” or “I love my career why would I do anything else?”
Well this is the best time to at least think about what type of life you want once the baby comes. I ask you this because you could start your own business and have it up and running by the time you are on your baby moon.
Let me share a story with you
We have two friends. They have a home based business marketing and selling a health product (one of my favorites). We went to visit them in Kauai for eight days. They live there 5 months out of the year and the rest of the year in Colorado. Well they built there home based business well before they got pregnant, but the reason I tell you this is because there family life is dreamy. There little girl is two.
Here is a typical day with them: Momma does breakfast, dad does some work down stairs in his office, dad goes surfing, mama and baby go to the beach were there are tons of other moms, the children are playing together, moms get to catch up with each other. Dads done surfing, takes baby, mom relaxes on the beach and then runs to the grocery store. Dad goes and does some more work for a couple of hours while mom cooks dinner.
It was such a great dynamic to see the whole family together so much.
Take a moment to think about this option now and not once your feet are swollen, your pregnant and hating your job. Or even that moment you already have your baby in your arms and the thought of going back to work makes you more nauseous than the first trimester of your pregnancy.
If you love what you do and look forward to going back to work soon after giving birth, that is awesome, but this is written for those who have felt it in there hearts that they want to stay home.

Our Story
My husband and I have always been entrepreneurs, even since grade school. We have worked many jobs and owned many businesses. I pick owning a HOME business over a store front business any day (lesson #325 from owning our own Health foods store). We both have our own businesses. There are three main reasons we chose a home based business over jobs, and store front business:
Time – Choosing our schedules so when we have children we are there for them and for each other.
Independence – We are very independent people that want to create a life where traveling 3-4 times a year is absolutely normal and the view of the beach from our house is debt free.
Money – We want to create an incredible lifestyle, make an impact on the charities and causes we believe in, have our children go to the best schools and have a lot of fun.
There are so many options, you could begin your research on the internet today and you will find hundreds. But the biggest thing is to begin dreaming. Do you want to have the time an freedom to be with your child, or your partner could have time to take care of them and you could have some free time to yourself… woo imagine that!
