Celebrating women’s month: Ode to Jeannine Parvarti Baker

Jeannine has been one of my biggest mentors, superheroes and gurus for years… and still is. She is the main reason I became aware to consciously preparing to conceive, realizing that journey could be just as amazing and important as pregnancy itself.

When I first read Hygieia: a women’s herbal, I was blown away and inspired to take care of my body naturally. She taught me to be transparent, to be myself and people will get it. Her beauty moved me, it made me excited to grow older and become more graceful. She wrote many books, founded Hygieia College, gave birth to six babies, and inspired thousands. She created a world where birth is normal, women are powerful and herbs & yoga are medicine. Thank you from my heart Jeannine.
