Hi . My name is Jaleesa. I am 21 years young but unfortunately I am having fertility issues . I've been with the same guy for 5 years now and we started trying to get pregnant when i was 16 . My period was working just fine before the first time I started trying to conceive. Every since then for a year or two, I had a period every now and then. After that, I didn't/haven't had one at all til this very day . Since I've been trying to get pregnant, I haven't had any luck. As far as I know, my family does not have any history of fertility or menstrual problems. My fiance doesn't either. He thinks he could be the problem, but I feel it's me and how I don't have a period anymore since the first time we tried. We have no known medical problems other than my issue with my period. I have not been to the doctor bacause we can't afford the gyn right now. I was hoping I could get some help here but I am going to the doctor within the next few months....hopefully. If there's anyone that can relate or give some advice, Please by all means do so.

Welcome to the community. I think it is great that you will be going to the doctor in the next few months, having a diagnosis can be very helpful when wondering in which direction you should go from there. You may want to read our Absent Periods guide to getting your period back.


He may want to get tested also, there is just as much of a chance that he may be having fertility issues as well.
