I just found this article form the times that, if I read it correctly, states antioxidants are bad for people who have insulin resistance and those that are exercising to improve health and for weight control.... I exercise 3-4 times a week for 30 minutes, not including all the run around time I get from tending to the kids. I also take Sx fraction for my IR, and some other herbs (Vitex, Inositol, Red Raspberry, Choline, and Royal Jelly) but the only antioxidant I take is Acai Berry.... Despite the exercise, Low GI diet, and herbal supplementation it is still next to impossible for me to lose pounds.... I wonder if an herb or vitamin I'm taking may be causing this?
