confused abouty supplements

Postby gemelos » Tue Jun 16, 2009

Hello,

my name is Holly. This is my first post. I am 37 trying to get pregnant. I'm just recently married after having been single all my life. (I do have 1 child that is 15.) I have uterine fibroids that are pretty big. My doctor says I can probably get pregnat, but I have to start now!! Anyways, I'm coming to the conclusion that I probably cannot get pregnant. I've been frantically searching internet for natural supplements. So far I've come accross royal jelly, vitex, maca, and wheat grass juice as things that can help me. However, I just read on another site that Royal Jelly creates more estrogen dominace (which is what I want to avoid) Can someone explain to my why this is suggested as something to boost fertility when it can worsen the some of the things that create infertility? I'm really confused. Please Help!!

Hi Holly,

Welcome to the community!

You will find this thread helpful: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=68&start=0&hilit=royal+jelly

In addition Royal Jelly is more specific for egg health and overall fertility. In your case you may want to focus on the herbs and therapies that are specific for your situation. Have you read our guide to uterine fibroids here:

Holly,

You've come to the right place ! This forum, and the site is amazing, I've learned so much!

First off, ignore the doctors !! Yea, that's not the most popular advise, but they are wrong all the time. Them saying you can probably get pregnant but it has to be now isn't necessarily accurate. While your fertility does usually decrease by age, most doctors don't take into consideration the many benefits natural/herbal remedies give our bodies. If you take care of your body, it will take care of you....and 37 is not too late for babies!

Many prayers to you for a BFP very soon.....
