On the first day of my period I always get painful cramps. Does anyone have any natural ways to help releive this pain.

Hi nicolioak,
Vitex eases inflammation of the uterus or ovaries, it has been shown very helpful for Dysmenorhea (painful menstrual cramps). This herb would be best used over time.
For relief the day of the cramping you may want to learn about the herb Crampbark. This herb is very effective in reducing menstrual cramps as well as all cramping of the muscles.
Best Wishes,
