Endometriosis and one ovary left

Postby boots11 » Thu Apr 02, 2009

My name is Emily, and I live in Fargo, ND. I was recently married, and have been trying for a baby for about 7 months now. I work at a hospital and my husband owns his own business.

About a year and a half ago I was diagnosed with endmetriosis while I was having surgery to remove a large cyst from my right ovary. Three surgeries later, I lost my right ovary due to scarring from multiple cysts and multiple surgeries.

I was hoping to find someone on this forum who knows anything about endometriosis, ovarian cysts, and living with one ovary. My doctor seems to think we will be able to get pregnant on our own, but has given me a deadline of having my children before I am 30. I turn 26 in 6 weeks.

I stumbled across this website while researching infertility online, and I am very interested in learning more about natural ways to enhance my fertility. I would love to start to help things along, and I would also love to meet some new people and learn some new things! I also hope I will be able to help comfort others during my time on this forum!

Thank you for welcoming me into your little group, and I look forward to beginning this journey with all of you!

Emily

Hi Emily and welcome to the community!

Keep your head up, there is hope! Lifestyle changes are some of the most effective ways to help with endometriosis. These would be changing your diet, clearing out old tissues and congestion, balancing your hormones, and avoiding certain pollutants. To learn more about what you can do to work toward getting control over your endometriosis click here: http://natural-fertility-info.com/endometriosis.

I know women who have endometriosis and through lifestyle changes have had beautiful babies. I also know women who have conceived with just one ovary. It is possible.

Best Wishes on your Journey!
