That is a huge thing with men..... they are terrified to find out they might be the problem but they WANT kids....its confusing (as men usually are!!!!)

I think its more self esteem and pride, if they don't get tested then they can't know that their "guys" are not quite perfect, and that they're not the cause of the troubles. It goes along with the providing for the family, carrying on the family name thing I guess.

There are a lot of options....I do know drug stores carry a semen analysis test that is pretty accurate from what I've read. That way the guys can "take care of providing the sample" at home instead of in a doctors office (where hundreds of other men have done that.... that was my husbands problem, he didn't want to be in that nasty room where everyone else was you know?

Also, there are many companies that offer the test, its much more pricey but also more accurate, as accurate as the test the doctor would run in his office.

Some doctors allow the men to provide the sample at home, then bring it in as long as your within 30-45 mins of the doctors office.
