Smoothie Recipes for PregnancyPregnancy smoothies! You may already know how much I love to recommend smoothies for fertility, but why not continue this healthy habit into pregnancy? Pregnancy smoothies are an easy and tasty way to get many nutrients and foods into your body, daily. During pregnancy your nutritional requirements increase… you need to eat more protein, get those greens in daily (which may seem impossible if you have morning sickness), eat more antioxidant rich foods, and don’t forget your EFAs! Who knew eating for two would be so complicated?

Smoothies to the rescue. I am sharing with you three smoothie recipes that are perfect for pregnancy. Use these as inspiration to make your own custom smoothies. These smoothies provide around 26 – 30 grams of protein per smoothie.

Green Goddess
1 C Spinach
1 Scoop FertiliWhey Protein Powder
1 Banana
1/2 C Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 t. Spirulina
3T Hemp seeds
2 Dates or a little bit of honey
1C water or coconut water

Makes 1 serving
Blend all ingredients together. Add more water if needed to create the consistency you desire.

Protein Breakfast Smoothie
2T Almond or peanut butter
1 Scoop FertiliWhey protein powder
1 t. Spirulina
2T Chocolate powder
1 Banana
1C Milk of your choice (dairy, almond, coconut)

Makes 1 serving
Blend all ingredients together. Add more milk if needed to create the consistency you desire.

Tropical Baby Smoothie
1/4C Mango
1/4C Strawberry
1t. Spirulina
1 Banana
1/4C Pineapple
1C Water or milk of your choice (dairy, almond, coconut)
1 Scoop FertiliWhey Protein
3T Hemp Seeds

Makes 1 serving
Blend all ingredients together. Add more water/milk if needed to create the consistency you desire.
