What was your fertility journey prior to finding Natural-Fertility-Info.com and the NaturalFertilityShop.com?
We had our son 12 years ago without any issues other than a tilted uterus, but then when he was about a year old, I developed endometriosis. We began to try to have another baby when he was almost 2 without any luck. We thought it was just because I had a tilted uterus. We tried for about a year or so then took a break. A few years later we began to try for a baby again. We tried and tried and tried – no luck. In 2010 after about 2 years of no success, we sought out medical help and were referred to a fertility clinic. Our diagnosis was unexplained secondary infertility. We did a lot of tests and they followed my cycles to see if I was ovulating on my own, then we moved onto a few medicated cycles. We did 3 IUIs and more medicated cycles but still to no avail. The doctor thought that I had a egg quality issue. After a few years, I began to try some natural products to boost egg quality.
What information and products made the difference for you?
I did a ton of research into egg quality issues and endometriosis and found the Natural Fertility website. I read quite a few testimonials and followed some of the advice. Finally after taking some products to boost my egg quality – DHEA 75mg/day and Co-enzyme Q10 1200mg/day plus red raspberry tea daily, we decided to do IVF. We did the IVF and had a great outcome – 9 frozen embryos. They were all of great quality. We did 2 transfers and although both worked and we got pregnant, they both ended in early miscarriages. I began to research more and decided before our 3rd and final embryo transfer, that I would do a Fertility Cleanse. I bought the Fertility Cleanse Kit from the Natural Fertility Shop as well as Wobenzym N (to help with endometriosis causing immune issues and embryo rejection) and I did both the month before the transfer. I also did castor oil packs every night and acupuncture with a traditional Chinese practitioner right up until transfer. I ended up pregnant that cycle and continued to take the Wobenzym N until I was 13 weeks pregnant.
What changes and benefits did you experience from taking the products?
I noticed a new energy immediately with the cleanse and my period before the transfer was different. Not so sluggish. I had red blood instead of slow brown blood and the pain wasn’t as intense as usual. The biggest benefit was a viable pregnancy finally!
What is some advice you would give others going through their fertility journey?
Do your research. The Fertility Cleanse and castor oil packs really help prepare your body with a “fresh” womb.
How are you and your baby doing now? How old is your baby now?
We are doing wonderful. Our beautiful son was born at 39 weeks and was 8 lbs. 4 oz. He is almost 4 months old and just the sweetest baby. We are so in love!
