What was your fertility journey prior to finding Natural-Fertility-Info.com and the NaturalFertilityShop.com?:
At the age of 40, my life began… again. I married my childhood crush (whom I knew since the day I was born!) and although we both had children from previous marriages – I had two boys ages 21 and 11, he had two girls ages 21 and 19 – we decided “wouldn’t it be neat if we had a lovechild together?” Haha!
I’ve never been on the pill a day in my life. I’ve had three pregnancies and two live births. The third, with my ex-husband occurred about 5 years before. I fully expected to get pregnant right away. After months of trying, we consulted with my OBGYN and both my husband and I had a series of blood work, which all came back normal. Then, I did a round of ovulation treatment. In Dec of 2015, I had an HSG which showed a bilateral tubal blockage. In Jan. of 2016, I had 2 more HSGs to confirm and was told I would need to go the IVF route or undergo a surgical procedure that may or may not unblock my tubes. IVF was expensive and invasive and risky. The surgery was in the same ballpark from our perspective, so we opted out of both. From there, I began researching tubal blockages, as I had never heard of such and stumbled upon Natural Fertility.
What information and products made the difference for you?:
I first had a Fertility Consultation with one of the Natural Fertility Consultants and went on to purchase the Fertility Cleanse, as well as the castor oil pack. All three of these, I believe, made a difference in my fertility journey.
What changes and benefits did you experience from taking the products?:
Taking the Fertility Cleanse encouraged me toward a healthier lifestyle, as the more I researched, the more I realized how important a healthy lifestyle (balanced nutrition, exercise, hormones, etc.) is in our reproductive health.
What is some advice you would give others going through their fertility journey?:
I would encourage others to focus less on getting pregnant and more on creating a healthy body from the inside out. This includes balancing hormones, eating a nutritious diet, getting proper exercise and taking care of your mental health.
How are you and your baby doing now? How old is your baby now?:
My baby girl is 6 months old and is truly a miracle! She is a healthy and very happy baby. I had a very difficult pregnancy, as I suffered from prenatal depression and hyperemesis gravada. I also ended up with a cerclage at 24 weeks. Since her birth in January of this year, 2017, I have not had any issues with postpartum depression.
