Do you have a plan?
It can be overwhelming trying to figure out where to start.
Here is what I want you to know…
👏 You can have an impact on your own reproductive health. I call it self-health care and have seen results day in and out of women transforming their hormonal health, periods and fertility issues through the use of natural therapies.
✨ You need support and encouragement. Having others in your space (even if it is online) who support you and encourage you is important. Read our success stories when you need motivation.
✨You need to take action. Nothing is going to change if things don’t change. The steps are simple, I can teach you those. Consistency is the “secret”. Many of us get stuck in the information gathering stage but never take action. I know that won’t be you 😉
✨Shifts in reproductive health take time. The body works at its own pace. Coming back into balance can take multiple cycles. Have realistic expectations and patience with yourself. In the long run 3-6 months isn’t very long.
✨Nutrition is underrated. Foods are just as much the solution as the cause. Make nutrition part of your fertility plans no matter what. You don’t have to be perfect but be on purpose.
✨Age ≠ fertility. If you are over 35 your probably feeling the pressure of “age” impacting your fertility. It’s not actually about age. What is important are 2 things. Ovulation and Egg Health. Focusing on these two areas will take you 10x farther than worrying about age.
✨Know thy body. One of the most important tools that I teach is how to read the feedback your body is giving you about your reproductive health. If you can understand your body’s signs - you will have clarity on what to focus in on.
✨You need to commit to a plan and follow through. The results of the ‘Formula’ are pretty predictable. It is the accumulation of 17 years of supporting women with natural therapies put into an easy to use guide & checklist.

Don’t make this same mistake...
Did you know only about 13% of women are aware of their most fertile times during their menstrual cycle.
Let’s fix that statistic real quick.
Here is how to know IF and WHEN you are ovulating. ⤵️
Track your basal body temperature everyday and track the number daily.
▶️ Measure your temp. first thing when you wake each morning.
▶️ Use an app, chart printed online or a digital tracking tool.
▶️ Take a look at the pattern created through consistent daily tracking.
✔️ BBT tracking can confirm ovulation. - A sustained rise in temperature typically indicates that ovulation has occurred. This is crucial for timing intercourse for conception.
Once you start charting, you’ll notice patterns. Typically, you’ll see lower temperatures before ovulation and higher ones after. The day your temperature spikes is likely the day after you’ve ovulated.
Now that you have this powerful tool in your box you are ready for the next step....5 ways to promote ovulation...
BUT if ovulation is not regular OR predictable it can get super frustrating.
Here are 5 Simple Ways to Promote Ovulation:
🥚 Focus on nutrition - eat foods that are nourishing for hormone health and healthy blood sugar levels. Studies show a direct connection to diet and ovulation.
🥚 Actively manage stress - reducing cortisol levels is important for regular ovulation. If stress is high and a consistent part of your day, one of the first functions of the body that is affected is ovulation.
🥚 Support ovulation with herbs - several herbs are effective at promoting ovulation by supporting hormonal balance.
🥚 Acupressure - by practicing regular acupressure the release you are able to support the hormone system “communication”, which regulates ovulation.
🥚 Castor oil therapy - by increasing circulation to the reproductive system, you are helping to bring fresh nutrients to the ovaries and uterus.
Wondering how to get started with these steps?
➡️ Following my Formula will save you months of research and experimenting.

5 steps to take to support your fertility...
You can improve your fertility with natural therapies and lifestyle changes.
Here are the top 5 most important things to do.
✨ Clear detoxification pathways - The time while you are preparing for conception is one of the most important times to create a healthy body in preparation for pregnancy. Fertility cleansing is a way to support the body in preparation for conception by cleansing the uterus and liver.
Through the use of herbs, The Fertility Cleanse encourages the liver to cleanse the body of toxins and excess hormones from the body while increasing circulation to the uterus.
✨ Nourish your eggs - As we age and live our lives throughout the years, our eggs are being exposed to the environment within our body.
High oxidative stress, nutritional deficiency, and lack of circulation all impact the health of our egg cells over time.
✨ Increase circulation to your reproductive system - What does this mean exactly? It means lots of benefits for egg health and uterine lining.
✨ Know your fertile window - knowing WHEN or IF you are ovulating will be very important to getting pregnant sooner than later. There are many tools you can use to confirm this.
I personally like fertility charting because it not only pinpoints ovulation but can also give you feedback on other areas of your fertility such as progesterone or thyroid health.
✨ Reduce stress and create a “receptive” uterine lining - I know, I know, being told to “relax” while ttc can make you grind your teeth, there is major benefits to reducing cortisol levels while ttc.
Consistently high cortisol can prevent ovulation, and that is a no go around here. Exercising, yoga, meditation and tonic herbs (hello Fertility Superfoods) are my favorite ways to nurture my nervous system. Try different things out and find your b l i s s.

Studies agree...
As we age and live our lives throughout the years, our eggs are being exposed to the environment within our body.
High oxidative stress, nutritional deficiency, and lack of circulation all impact the health of our egg cells over time.
Our egg cells don’t turn over like the other cells of our body.
Most cells within our body are constantly dying off and being replaced.
For example our skin cells renew every 30 days.
Our red blood cells renew every 120 days and our liver cells turnover about every 300-500 days.
Even the cells in our stomach lining turn over every 2-9 days.
But our brain cells and egg cells are never replaced.
At least with our current understanding of the human body.
We need to protect and nourish our oocytes from the oxidative stress they are exposed to.
Here is exactly how to do that...
➡️ Proper circulation
➡️ A healthy fertility cycle
➡️ Balanced hormones
➡️ Healthy eggs
The health of your eggs (ova) can affect whether or not fertilization and implantation will occur as well as the viability of a pregnancy.
During the cycle of an egg’s journey towards ovulation, there is a window of opportunity, a period of time, when certain factors can affect the health of the eggs that are preparing for ovulation. ⏳
This journey takes about 90 days.
The steps you take today will impact the health of your eggs 3 months from now.
That is why I talk so much about taking a MINIMUM of 90 days to prepare for pregnancy or IVF/IUI.
🙂 The good news is that there are steps you can take to help support the health of your eggs. There is too much info to put into this tiny caption but….
☞ Type EGG in the comments below to get my Egg Health Checklist which goes into details on what to do and what to avoid over the next 3 months.

4 misconceptions about progesterone...
Let’s demystify this complex topic.
But before we begin - Hi! I’m Hethir. If we haven’t met yet, I’m a natural fertility specialist with 17 years of experience as an herbalist and nutritionist, dedicated to naturally supporting women’s reproductive health.
Here are three key factors to consider when aiming to support the body’s progesterone production.
👉🏽 Misconception #1. Low progesterone can be caused by lack of ovulation. In order for progesterone levels to rise, the body must first ovulate, which triggers the transformation of the follicle into a corpus luteum, responsible for producing progesterone.
If ovulation doesn’t occur, low progesterone is likely to persist since the body doesn’t require an increase in progesterone without ovulation.
👉🏽 Misconception #2… Estrogen dominance can cause low progesterone. There is a balance between estrogen and progesterone happening within the body and if there’s too much estrogen this can affect hormone balance as it pertains to ovulation and progesterone production.
Considering the larger context of the entire fertility cycle is crucial when addressing progesterone production. Instead of solely focusing on progesterone by itself.
👉🏽 Misconception # 3 Diet can affect progesterone levels. While foods themselves do not contain progesterone, certain nutrients can support the body’s natural hormone production. For instance, foods rich in vitamin B6, zinc, and magnesium can help maintain hormonal balance and support progesterone levels.
👉🏽 Misconception #4... Thyroid function can impact progesterone levels. Progesterone and thyroid hormones have a reciprocal relationship. Adequate thyroid hormone levels are necessary for progesterone production, and progesterone can influence thyroid hormone levels. Imbalances in thyroid function can therefore affect progesterone levels and overall reproductive health.

Here is how to know IF and WHEN you are ovulating. ⤵️
87% of women trying to conceive don’t know their fertile days
Let’s fix that statistic real quick in the next 30 seconds.
✨How To Detect Your Most Fertile Days ✨
Track your basal body temperature daily.
▶️ Measure your temp. first thing when you wake each morning.
▶️ Use an app, chart printed online or a digital tracking tool.
▶️ Take a look at the pattern created through consistent daily tracking.
What your chart says about your fertility:
✔️ BBT tracking can confirm ovulation. - A sustained rise in temperature typically indicates that ovulation has occurred. This is crucial for timing intercourse for conception.
✔️ BBT can hint at potential hormonal imbalances. - For instance, consistently low temperatures throughout your cycle might suggest an underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism), as thyroid hormones play a significant role in regulating metabolism and body temperature
Also, the length and pattern of your BBT chart’s phases—the follicular phase before ovulation and the luteal phase after—can offer clues about your reproductive health.
✔️ A short luteal phase, for example, might indicate low progesterone levels, which can affect your ability to maintain a pregnancy.
✔️ An extended follicular phase could suggest challenges with egg maturation or release, potentially pointing to conditions like Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
Once you start charting, you’ll notice patterns. Typically, you’ll see lower temperatures before ovulation and higher ones after. The day your temperature spikes is likely the day after you’ve ovulated.

Fertility Myths about ovulation
👉🏽 Myth #1: Period = ovulation
Fact: Regular periods can occur without ovulation. A period is the uterine lining shedding, not the loss of the egg.
👉🏽 Myth #2: Positive OPK test guarantees ovulation
Fact: Ovulation tests detect the LH surge, indicating your body is preparing to ovulate, but they do not confirm that ovulation has occurred. Confirming ovulation typically requires tracking basal body temperature or hormone levels.
👉🏽 Myth #3: You can only get pregnant on the day you ovulate
Fact: The fertile window can be up to 6 days, including the days leading up to and the day of ovulation, due to sperm’s ability to survive in the female reproductive tract for several days.
👉🏽 Myth #4: Having s3x everyday increases your chances of pregnancy
Fact: While regular intercourse is important, having sex every day can decrease sperm quality. It’s more effective to have sex every 2-3 days during the fertile window.
👉🏽 Myth #5: You always ovulate on day 14 of your cycle
Fact: Ovulation can vary widely among women and even from cycle to cycle. It typically occurs 10-16 days before the start of the next period.
How to know IF and WHEN you are ovulating. ⤵️

5 Signs You Might not be ovulating 👇
Ovulation is key when trying to get pregnant, but many women assume they are ovulating just because they have a period.
Only 13% of women TTC know their fertile times.
Here are signs you might not be ovulating and how to confirm:
🚩Low to no cervical mucous - Cervical mucus changes throughout your cycle, becoming clear and stretchy around ovulation. If you notice little to no cervical mucus, it could be a sign of ovulatory issues
🚩Short fertility cycles (< 24 days)- Menstrual cycles shorter than 22 days may indicate that ovulation is not occurring or is happening too early, which can affect fertility
🚩Long fertility cycles (> 35 days) - Long cycles can be a sign of irregular or absent ovulation.
🚩Low body weight (BMI <18.5) - Being underweight can disrupt hormone levels, leading to irregular periods or even stopping ovulation altogether
🚩Irregular or absent periods - If your periods are irregular or you miss them altogether, it might be a sign of anovulation
But let’s not assume.
Here is how to know IF and WHEN you are ovulating. ⤵️

Could it be low progesterone?
Here are a few signs….
↗️ You don’t see a rise in temperature or see a drop in temperature on your fertility chart during your luteal phase (part of your cycle after ovulation, before your period).
↗️ You are not ovulating.
↗️ Your luteal phase is less than 12 days.
↗️ You spot before your period.
↗️ You are cold all the time.
↗️ You experience PMS
While these are not conclusive symptoms, they may be enough for you to get your progesterone levels tested.
There are a lot of reasons progesterone could be low and they should be explored. 🕵️
📌 Remember… if you are not ovulating you will not produce very much progesterone. So make sure to address the root cause if that is the case.

Understanding your period and fertility
But before we begin - Hi! I’m Hethir. If we haven’t met yet, I’m a natural fertility specialist with 17 years of experience as an herbalist and nutritionist, dedicated to naturally supporting women’s reproductive health.
Here are signs that your body could use some support.
🩸 Dark, thick and clotty period blood = old blood
✔️ Clots are the body’s natural way of controlling excess bleeding.
✔️ Possible causes:
- High estrogen levels = This would also cause a heavier cycle than normal because higher estrogen levels - -mean the uterus lining could be thicker than normal.
🩸 Dark, thick and clots with pain (cramping)
✔️ Possible causes: Excessive amounts of prostaglandin — the hormone involved with inflammation and pain.
🩸 Lighter colored period similar to strawberry jam:
✔️ Possible causes:
- Possible sign of low estrogen. In this case, period flow can be patchy and is often late because low estrogen = thin uterine lining.
🩸 Spotting
✔️ Spotting is a tricky subject as it can be caused by many different factors. If it happens only once & a while I would not be that concerned, but if it is a regular event this could mean low progesterone, short luteal phase, hormone imbalance, birth control or poor nutrition.
🩸 Long Periods or long cycles >7:
✔️ Signs of hormonal imbalances or possible fertility issues such as endometriosis, PCOS or uterine fibroids.
🩸 Short periods or missing periods <3:
✔️ Short periods or missing periods could mean multiple things. Some could be nutritional deficiencies, hormone imbalances, low body weight or poor circulation to the uterus, peri-menopause.
Each of these can be supported using the natural therapies, supplements and foods covered in the Natural Fertility Formula.
