How to Prepare Conceptions Tea Properly
Conceptions Tea is a loose-leaf tea, meaning it does not come in individual tea bags. In order to make this tea, you will need some kind of tea tool, such as: fine mesh strainer, your own tea bags cloth or muslin, a stainless-steel tea ball or a tea French press.
1. Stir up the Conceptions Tea, during shipping it may have settled. You are going to want to get a variety of each of the herbs each time you make it.
2. For 1 cup of Conceptions Tea, place a 1-2 tsp. of dried herbs in a tea cup (mug). For 2-3 cups of Conceptions Tea, put 3-4 heaping tsp of dried herbs in a glass canning jar.
3. Pour boiling water over the herbs, cover with a small plate for 1 cup method, or cap tightly if making in a glass canning jar. Let steep for a minimum of 30 minutes. Capping tightly insures you will not let any of the medicinal qualities of the herbs evaporate; this is especially important for the volatile oils contained in many of the plants. Because this tea is a mixture of bark (hard parts) and leaves, it needs to be steeped for the required time or longer to extract the medicinal properties of the hard bark parts. For 1 cup of Conceptions Tea, steep for 15 minutes. For a quart, steep for 30 minutes to 3 hours.
Conceptions Tea should only be consumed consistently for up to 6 months. Do not use this tea during pregnancy.

Helpful Tips
- Make a larger batch, strain it, and put it in the refrigerator. That way you have 3 cups for the entire day made in advance.
- Some women have never tried herbal teas and find the taste of Conceptions Tea can be different than other flavors they are used to. If you find you are one of those women, try drinking the tea cold. Add lemon, a bit of hibiscus flower, or cherry juice for flavor.
- Do not steep the tea for more than 3-4 hours. Steep for less time for a milder flavor.
