IVF Affirmations: Using Your Thoughts to Stay Calm and Foster Success

IVF Affirmations: Using Your Thoughts to Stay Calm and Foster Success

Positive Affirmations for IVFAre you preparing for IVF? If so, this article is for YOU! From start to finish, IVF can be exciting, but the waiting, anticipation and wondering can be nerve wracking and worrisome. Because of this, it is just as important to nurture your mind and spirit as it is your body. Nurturing your mind is one of many Natural Ways to Support Your Body Through an IVF Cycle. Now more than any other time is the time to make a concerted effort to change your thoughts to help improve your outcome and help you manage any stress that comes along with IVF.

We can change our thoughts to benefit, empower, and help us through challenging life experiences by learning to use positive affirmations. Affirmations are a declaration that something is true, which can help us to:

  • release fear
  • lessen anxiety
  • encourage positivity
  • shift negative thoughts to positive ones
  • manifest a goal or outcome
  • attract good things into life
  • remain grateful

Take a small amount of time, a mere moment really, to acknowledge a negative thought or fear. Now stop what you are doing and take a few deep breaths before saying an affirmation out loud, or quietly to yourself. Repeat it slowly at least three times, or as often as you need, and believe in what you are saying to yourself. I am a fan of short affirmations, but they can be however long you need them to be. You can also choose to say several short affirmations in a row. You are welcome to copy the affirmations I share below and I encourage you to learn how to create powerful positive affirmations through our article here…

    • Hello!

I am so sorry for all you are going through!

I hope you find these affirmations helpful as you begin to use them, perhaps alongside other ways to help with these emotions like counseling, prayer, meditation, talking through your pain with a trusted family member or friend, etc.

It may also be time to shift gears a bit and focus on becoming strong again before actively trying to conceive. What led you to ICSI, IUI and FET? Do you or your partner/husband have fertility health issues?

It will help me to know more about your situation in order to guide you to more helpful information. You are welcome to reply here or email me here…
