    Hi Dalene,
I am interested in where to buy kefir? In the video Hither said she would put a few places that she suggests on the site, I have not seen any. Should I buy the Kefir starter? or is there something else I should buy? Kefir grains was mentioned in the video.

      Hi Melissa,

You can purchase Kefir at any health food store. It comes in different flavors such as strawberry, blueberry and raspberry. It is found in the natural food dairy section of most grocery stores as well. Nancy’s dairy products is a great family owned company that makes Kefir. Hethir even drank a small to go strawberry Kefir made by Nancy’s the other day. You can make Kefir from Raw Milk as well. Ask your local health store about raw milk in your area and if there are any classes or people who could help you to learn how to make your own at home.

      Best Wishes,

    HI Hethir,
I am curious after watching your smoothie drink on u tube, what is raw milk? I have not been able to find it. Can you buy this milk or do you make it?
    Thank you

      Hi Melissa,

I am so glad that you’ve asked this question! Raw milk is pure, raw milk from a cow, goat or sheep. These animals are raised free-range and fed a diet of grass, usually. They are then milked and the milk is bottled and purchased by the consumer, no pasturization required. There is controversy over this since milk in a grocery store is almost always pasturized by law for safety. The pasturization process kills many vital nutrients, healthy bacteria and wonderful enzymes, which are all very beneficial to our health and the digestion of dairy products. It is illegal to purchase raw dairy products in many states. In some states there is a loop hole in the law, which enables families to purchase raw milk by buying a share of the animal with other people, this ownership gives them the right to purchase the raw milk from the farm the animal is raised on. I Googled Raw Milk and found many great sites about the benefits of raw milk. The most important thing to do before purchasing raw milk is to know its source, find out all you can about the farm where the animal is raised and if possible find a local farm where you can frequent to see first hand the sanitary conditions of the animals, farm, staff and bottling areas.

      Happy Drinking!
