Best Supplement For Reducing Estrogen For Both Men & Women

The #1 supplement that we use to reduce excess estrogen is DIM. It’s popularity stems from the fact that it’s incredibly effective and so many fertility health issues are caused by excess estrogen. Estrogen, A Necessity!

The hormone estrogen is naturally produced by the body. Natural or endogenous estrogen is not bad! It is a very important hormone that:

  • works in balance with other hormones in our system.
  • helps to grow uterine lining.
  • helps to prepare and mature the egg for ovulation.
  • supports prostate and heart health.

Too Much Is A Bad Thing!

What is happening to many men and women is that they come in contact with, consume and absorb a lot of environmental estrogens (exogenous, often bad estrogens). These estrogens mimic the body’s natural estrogen and have a very strong action. We see excess estrogen contribute to:

  • uterine fibroids
  • endometriosis
  • heavy menstrual cycles
  • anovulation
  • hormonal imbalance
  • PMS
  • PCOS
  • Recurrent miscarriage
  • Low testosterone
  • low sperm count
  • low libido
  • decreased erectile function
  • excess chest (breast) and abdominal fat and obesity
  • increased risk for enlarged prostate or prostate cancer

Where does excess estrogen come from?

We are exposed to chemicals from plastic, pesticides, hormones in the non-organic animal foods we eat, fluorescent lighting, conventional body care products, etc. Learn more from out guide our guide, Environmental Toxins to Avoid for Healthy Fertility, shares much more on this topic.

How DIM works

DIM assists the body with the healthy breakdown and synthesis of excess estrogen. DIM has the amazing ability to zone in on only the bad estrogen, while leaving intact the good estrogen that our bodies produces. DIM will not take away any good estrogen that you have and need for healthy hormonal balance. It will just search out the bad!

DIM promotes healthy estrogen metabolism allowing the good estrogen to fill up the receptor sites. When the body rids itself of excess estrogen, the symptoms of estrogen dominance often decrease; symptoms like acne, PMS, breast tenderness, heavy menstrual flow, low libido, etc.

DIM is also considered an antioxidant. So, it can protect cellular health (sperm and eggs). It supports mood and libido (sex drive) and has a fat burning component to it as well.

Can I just eat more broccoli?

Yes, definitely! But if you want to get the effects of DIM sooner rather than later, supplementing is the way to go. In just 10-30mg of DIM, you would have to eat about 1.5 pounds of cruciferous vegetables.

Suggested use: DIM is generally suggested from 100-400mg daily. FertilicaTM DIM Complete can be combined with any other herb or supplement that we offer.

Note: Some people find that their urine smells like asparagus when they start using DIM. That is the normal result of metabolites exiting the body. DIM is not suggested during pregnancy.

I heard so many great things about DIM and I started to take it a couple of years ago, however I notice when I did I would experience the most severe headaches and cannot continue just after a few days. Is there anything eles you recommend for heavy periods with cramps and diarrhoea. I haven’t found anything in that time to help with my systems. Look foward in hearing from you.
